I am a native Houstonian with a bachelor’s in Marketing from Baylor University, sic ‘em bears! I began my career as the Social Media Manager at Hennessey Performance, where I developed new strategies and grew their account from 300K to over 2.0M in two years! I found a deeper passion for social media and overall business growth, so I decided to use my social media knowledge to help other businesses succeed. This is why I started Roys Digital Media, the best comprehensive solution for all social media and marketing needs! I am overjoyed by the growth we have accomplished in the past two years and am so grateful and excited to see where my business will go in the future! Let’s create excitement together!

I am a native Houstonian but now live in Austin, Texas, where I work as the Director of Operations for Roys Digital Media. I obtained my degree in Supply Chain Management from Baylor University in 2017 and decided to move abroad for a year after college! It was in Europe that I discovered the power of social media & marketing and began my career in the field. Beyond work, I spend my time in the kitchen, hanging with friends, or spending time in nature! It is an honor to be on the RDM team and I look forward to its very bright future!

I was born and raised in Houston, TX, and earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas State University, graduating magna cum laude. After starting my career in corporate marketing, I quickly discovered my passion for creative work. This led me to dive into the world of content creation and social media, where I’ve continually honed my skills. I love good food & drinks, and in my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends & family and, of course, cuddling my pups! I’m thrilled to be a part of the bright future at Roys Digital Media!

A Houston native through and through, I found my way back home after studying corporate communications with a minor in business at the University of Texas at Austin. Throughout my journey, I've always had a love for all things social media and marketing, and I'm thrilled to be in a position that allows me to continue pursuing that passion. Beyond my professional pursuits, I proudly embrace the title of "dog mom" to Ricky, my Golden Retriever. Joining the Roys team fills me with excitement, and I can't wait to be a part of the bright future that lies ahead for Roys Digital Media!

Head of Business Development

I'm RDM's global gal—born in Sweden, but shaped by a life across the world, resulting in a mix of accents that keep people guessing. My journey began as a high school exchange student in Austin, Texas, which sparked a lifelong dream to return. After studying Human Resource and Change Management in Sweden and Edinburgh, I started my career in London in Business Transformation and Project Management. My work then took me to New York City, where I reconnected with my high school crush, and we’re now happily married in Houston. Over the past year, I’ve transitioned into sales, focusing on relationship-building. Outside of work, I’m an artist and avid traveler, always planning my next trip to somewhere a bit more picturesque than Houston!

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I attended Texas A&M University, where my passion for capturing meaningful moments and creating engaging content truly began to flourish. While I initially pursued a career in teaching, I soon discovered that my heart was in creative storytelling and digital content. I’m someone who thrives on connection and creativity—whether that’s through travel, spending quality time with friends and family, trying out new restaurants around Houston, or attending Aggie football games (Gig ’em!). That passion ultimately led me to make the exciting decision to follow my dreams and pursue a career in digital media marketing. I knew Roy’s was the perfect fit, with a team full of talented women who each bring their own unique style. I’m thrilled to be a part of it and can’t wait to contribute my creativity to the amazing work happening at RDM!

I was born and raised in Houston, TX, and made my way to Texas A&M University, where I studied Marketing on the Advertising Strategy track. During my time at A&M, I was involved in the campus fashion magazine, honing my skills in content creation and social media management. My favorite aspect of social media is the creativity it allows, enabling brands to continuously innovate and connect with their audiences in new ways. I am so excited to be back in my city and starting my career at RDM!

Senior Account Manager

Born and raised in Houston, I made my way to College Station, where I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Marketing at Texas A&M University (Gig ’em!). With a passion for all things creative, I’ve spent years honing my skills in video and photo editing—starting way back with Videostar at 11 years old! Now, as a proud content creator at Roys Digital Media, I get to channel my love for crafting engaging content that tells a story and connects with an audience. Whether it’s freelance photography or editing Instagram posts for my friends, content creation has always been my playground. When I’m not behind a phone screen, you’ll find me exploring the best Tex-Mex spots, hitting up concerts, or traveling to visit friends. I’m excited to bring my creativity and energy to the RDM team and see what amazing things we can create together!

I have a passion for helping businesses grow by building strong online communities, boosting engagement, and increasing visibility through creative and strategic content. I love keeping up with the latest social media trends and figuring out how to apply them in ways that can impact a brand’s success. Outside of work, I’m always on the move—whether it’s running, playing pickleball, or traveling to new places. I thrive on new experiences and challenges, and I’m eager to channel that enthusiasm into my work at Roys Digital Media!

Born in the vibrant coastal city of Lima, Peru, I moved to the United States in 2004 and embraced Texas as my second home. My passion for Marketing and Digital Media was sparked at a young age, fueled by a desire to tell compelling stories and elevate brands through creative content.
I earned an Associate’s degree in Communications and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, blending academic knowledge with hands-on experience in the dynamic world of digital media. Since beginning my career at Roys Digital Media in 2021, I’ve honed a diverse skill set that includes social media management, content creation, photography, and videography. These experiences have empowered me to deliver impactful, high-quality work that connects brands with their audiences.
With five years of digital marketing experience, I’m constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to innovate. Guided by positivity, meticulous organization, my dog Persephone, and a great cup of coffee, I am thrilled to collaborate with the talented team at Roys Digital Media to craft meaningful and inspiring content!

Born and raised in Mississippi, I earned my degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising with a minor in Marketing and Business Administration at Mississippi State University. My career journey took off in Dallas, Texas, where I dove into social media marketing, creating and managing accounts locally and in different states, as well as managing influencer partnerships.Now based in Houston, Texas, I’m continuing my love for all things social media and marketing. This ever-evolving field has been a constant source of inspiration and creativity in my life, and I feel so fortunate to be in a role that lets me pursue this passion every day.When I’m not working, you can usually find me spending time with my husband, trying out new restaurants, or enjoying walks around the city. lived all over the state of Texas, from being in San Antonio, Lubbock, Fort Worth and now in the city of Houston! I graduated from Texas Tech University with my Bachelors in Creative Media Industries, during my time here I also worked within the marketing department! I began my career as a Social Media Manager, where I continued to grow and appreciate the field of marketing and the world of social media. I have always loved all things creative and have had a passion for creating content ever since I was in middle school! When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with loved ones, watching movies and trying new restaurants! I am so excited to be a part of the RDM Team and look forward to helping creatively market our voice and others!

I grew up in the small town of lufkin, tx, where i held my first job in social media & fell in love with the creative side of marketing. i graduated from baylor university in 2022 with degrees in marketing and human resources and quickly moved to Austin where I was able to gain so much experience and growth in the content world. I recently moved to Houston to join the RDM team as a content creator & am loving every second of it! the past few years, i have held many side jobs, including coaching pilates at solidcore, modeling, and working in photography. outside of work, you can normally find me on a walking trail or hanging out with friends & family! i am so excited for my future at RDM & feel so blessed to be part this amazing team

Hi hi, my name is Kayla Newsome and I’m a passionate content creator at Roys Digital Media. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Media Productions with a concentration in Digital Media from the University of Houston. My creativity is inspired from those around me and from the love of innovation. I thrive on pushing boundaries and brainstorming outside-the-box ideas. From short-form videos to graphics, and photography, I truly find joy in it all! When I’m not creating, you can find me, listening to music, antiquing or thrift shopping, jamming to new music, and spending quality time with my friends and family. Joining the Roys Digital Media team feels like the perfect next step in my journey. I’m thrilled to help our clients shine online while growing alongside a team that values creativity, strategy, and bold ideas.

Born on a rainy February day (hence the name!), I grew up in the Middle East and spent my school years immersed in different cultures. That experience shaped my love for working with people from all over the world—one of the reasons I feel so connected to the work we do at RDM. I returned to the Philippines to earn my bachelor’s degree from the University of Santo Tomas, then jumped headfirst into the world of marketing. Funny enough, my journey started at 12 years old—as a fangirl managing pages and promoting every update from my favorite groups. Without realizing it, I was learning strategy, content planning, and community building. After graduating, I began working in the industry and have since held roles as a Social Media Manager, Content Producer, Community Manager, and Account Manager. But no matter the title, my passion has always stayed the same—helping brands bring their vision to life online. I’m a proud cat mom, a café-hopper, and a movie buff at heart, and I’m beyond excited to be doing work I love with a global team I admire at RDM.

I grew up in Cebu, Philippines, and studied Business Administration major in Marketing Management at the University of San Carlos. I actually started out as an accountancy student, but I soon realized I was more drawn to the creative and strategic side of business. That’s when I began leaning into marketing and learned how much I genuinely enjoyed it. While still in school, I looked for ways to gain real experience. I juggled classes with voluntary internships and eventually landed my first full-time role at a local marketing agency. That’s where I got a feel for how things really work behind the scenes.  It made me love and appreciate the process of strategy, content creation, social media, and everything in between.

Now I’m here at RDM, and I’m so happy to be part of a team that values the same things I do.

Director of Adorableness

Recently adopted by my loving parents, Emma and Alex, I spend my time around the office doing what a labor-doodle is best at, being ADORABLE! I love getting to be by my mom’s side every day as she is hard at work! I enjoy going on adventures with my parents, barking at squirrels, meeting new friends, and cuddling! In my role as Director of Adorableness at Roys Digital Media, I strive to bring cuteness, warmth, and love to all my team members throughout the week! My five-year goal is to master sneaking into the trash without Dad catching me and become the CAO - Chief Adorable Officer! WOOF!
